This annual scholarship is proudly presented by Geoff Latter Airshows and Wilson Aviation Ltd. to help a deserving student continue their studies in either a Professional Pilot program or an Aviation Maintenance Engineer program at a recognized college level educational institute in British Columbia.

 

To qualify for this scholarship the applicant must have completed their first year in their respective program, and be a student in good standing both academically as well as in their local aviation community.

 

This scholarship includes a one time bursary of $1,000 towards tuition, as well as opportunities to directly benefit from ongoing mentorship in the industry.

 

Preference will be given to applicants who are involved in their local aviation community, demonstrate a desire to work with classic, vintage, and historic aircraft, and who exemplify good moral character and strong leadership qualities.

To apply, send us a short essay about yourself, why you deserve this scholarship, and why you have chosen your vocation.  Tell us about your goals in aviation, and how you plan to achieve them.

 

Include your name, address, phone number, and email address when submitting your application for this scholarship, as well as the name of the program and educational institution you are attending for verification.

 

Applications must be submitted by June 25th, with the award being announced August 27th for that year.
